Life Before Thomas Jefferson High School

Hello, everyone! I am excited for this to be my third year as a TJ Spartan. I was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado and attended the University of Northern Colorado for my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I taught middle school Language Arts in Greeley before coming to TJ, and I am excited to start my ninth year of teaching this year. One of my main goals as an educator is to help students see the power and skill already within them and use that to be apart of healing the world. I was very involved with music growing up–I play the piano and guitar and even accompanied musicals on piano in high school and college. Some of my hobbies include reading, going to museums, hiking, spending time with my dog, baking, hanging out at coffee shops, and traveling.
